Activities and initiatives database

Welcome to the activities and initiatives database. Here you can find details of primary mental health and addiction activities and initiatives in place around New Zealand. You are able to search for information about what is happening, where it is occurring, who is providing the services and who is able to access them. Use the drop down boxes to add filters to your search, or alternatively type in a keyword.

In this first phase of the website, we have aimed to capture all the activities and services provided by primary health organisations (PHOs) that have been funded through the Ministry of Health (MOH) primary mental health funding stream, as well as activity funded through other means (including non MOH funding sources such as Ministry of Social Development contracts).

We recognise there are other innovative and emerging mental health and addiction activities and services occurring in primary care that have not yet been captured in this database, especially activity occurring in the non-government organisation (NGO) sector. As such, we invite primary care providers to submit new and/or amended information about your mental health and addiction activity by clicking the orange 'submit' button below.

If you are interested in finding out more detailed information about health services available in your area check out your local PHO's website or visit the Webhealth directory.

We trust you find the information in this database useful, please feel free to provide feedback or suggestions here.
